the art of change

finding your way

One-to-one creative conversations

Are there changes you would like to make in your life,
but you are not sure how to go about the process?

Using the Alexander Technique and NLP, both powerful instruments for change, fed by a commitment to creative expression, I can help you identify, refine and set achievable goals - small or large - and shine a light on what might be hindering you from conducting your life in the way you wish.

I am not interested in telling you what to do,
only helping you listen to what you want to do.

Do you feel stuck? Do you see the change you want to make, but feel something is holding you back? Do you know it’s time for a change, but cannot see what the first step might be?

Whether you are contemplating a specific change, or moving into a different phase of your life, I can help you shape-shift
a wish into a plan, a desire into an outcome, a feeling into action.

Using techniques from the Alexander Technique and NLP, both powerful instruments for change, and fed by a commitment to creative expression, I can help you identify, refine and set achievable goals - small or large - and shine a light on what might be hindering you from conducting your life in the way you wish.

I can help you identify limiting beliefs, decide on any changes you wish to make, and teach you to create well-formed outcomes to support you in achieving those changes.

I firmly believe that each person has their own answers.
My role is to fashion the creative questions that will illuminate those answers.

We will meet in creativity to forge your unique way ahead.

Through NLP, I learned:

·      the value of a well-placed question

·      how to craft a well-formed outcome

·      active listening

·      the ease and power of a belief change

·      the beauty of reframing

Through
AT I learned:

·      the nature of habit

·      directed thinking and action

·      the power of choice

Through
Natural Voice work I learned:

·      the magic of relationship in a held space

Through my
creative practice and writing poetry I know:

·      the strength of untrammelled imagination

·      the appeal of a well-turned word

Through Clown training I remembered:

·      the joy of play

“Andrea is a sharp listener. Processing what she hears leads her to insight. As a result, she asks great questions - and makes us do the work.”

About me

I am a conceptual artist working across painting, poetry, video and voice. I am addicted to ideas and creative thinking. I am also red-hot at organisation and project-planning.

I have qualifications in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP - Master Practitioner), the Alexander Technique (Teacher) and creative writing (MA - Poetry)

I have been running singing groups since 1995 and I am one of the founding members of the Natural Voice Network.

Now I am learning to be a clown. Since 2023 I have been playing with Nose to Nose, completing their three levels of Clown training, as well as courses in movement and Social Clowning.
